Job Summary This role provides direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients per shift and at unit level. The RN supervises staff delegated care, supports the CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, staff competency, and resource management related to patient care. Responsibilities The RN provides high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective, total nursing care to all patients and coordinates overall integration of patient care based on the nursing process. Directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control with the goal of discharging the patient with an optimum level of care. Coordinates and plans patient care within the prescribed medical regime. Performs and fulfills all HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed by the facility in emergencies or disasters. Knows the hospital’s emergency codes and adheres to policies and procedures for each code. Performs related duties as required. Qualifications Required: Education: Graduated from a state‑approved or accredited school of nursing. Certification: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession, as required by law or regulation in the state of practice; CPR certification. Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor’s or master’s degree). Wage range: $32.85 – $70.66, determined by qualifications and experience.
