Responsibilities
Team-based delivery of an innovative medical curriculum and providing academic service to the college university and their profession. Facilitate case-based learning. Participate in mentoring and advising activities for medical students.
Candidates for a position as Assistant Professor should have a doctoral degree and postdoctoral experience preferably with previous teaching experience. Candidates for advanced positions should also have extensive teaching in the medical education setting with evidence of teaching effectiveness as well as having demonstrated management and leadership capabilities. Demonstrated success in working well with faculty administrators and students in an educational environment. Knowledge of education pedagogy assessment and trends in medical education. Strong interpersonal skills. Passion for and commitment to medical student education.
