Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Medical Receptionist to join our busy healthcare practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, this role is essential in creating a welcoming, efficient, and professional office experience.

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This position requires rotating between our three locations: The Villages, Wildwood, and Clermont .

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage provider calendars
• Verify patient information and insurance; collect copays and balances
• Check patients in and out efficiently
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Keep the front desk and reception area clean and organized

Qualifications

• Previous medical receptionist experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Proficient with computers and EMR/EHR systems a plus
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes preferred
