+ About the job:
This role will help implement security controls, support audit readiness, and develop training programs to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.
+ We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 3+ years of experience in information security, risk management, or compliance
- Understands NIST, HIPAA, and cybersecurity frameworks
- Has experience in risk assessments, security audits, or vulnerability assessments
- Is familiar with security technologies like encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection, and SIEMs
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Works effectively within a cybersecurity or compliance team
- Communicates complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Keeps up with evolving threats, technologies, and regulations
+ What you’ll do:
- Assist in preparing and implementing NIST readiness efforts, focusing on CMMC and NIST 800-171 compliance
- Support assessment and implementation of security controls, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs aligned with NIST
- Help review and update security policies and procedures
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and risk management practices
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to security policies, compliance efforts, and risk assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, HR, Legal) to integrate security into risk management programs
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory changes
