Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients including pregnancy/preterm labor triage and observation, labor care, and cesarean section recovery
• Deliver postpartum care as well as post-gynecological and hysterectomy nursing support
• Perform intermediate fetal monitoring and respond appropriately to findings
• Utilize the Parragon EHR system to document patient care accurately and efficiently
• Float to PCU, ED, and Med/Surg units as needed to support staffing requirements
• Adhere to call requirements as designated by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina (or compact state eligibility)
• Required certifications: ACLS, NRP, BLS, PALS, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Minimum 1-2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Experience with obstetrics, gynecology, neonatal care, and/or pediatrics
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a diverse patient population including infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Familiarity with Parragon or similar EHR platforms
• Comfort floating to PCU, ED, or Med/Surg settings
• Experience in a Joint Commission Accredited facility
