Lead, Influence, and Transform Behavioral Health. A leading behavioral health organization is seeking a visionary, board-certified psychiatrist to serve as Executive Medical Director of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Services. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape clinical strategy, drive program growth, and elevate the quality of care within a dynamic inpatient behavioral health environment. Key Leadership Responsibilities Serve as a member of the executive leadership team, partnering with the CEO, CFO, COO, and EVP Provide strategic and operational oversight for psychiatric and behavioral health services Develop and implement clinical policies, standards, and best practices Direct psychiatric services and provide leadership to physicians and advanced practice providers Ensure excellence in patient safety, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement Lead clinical program development and initiatives that enhance patient care and access Maintain a limited clinical caseload (up to six patients) Participate in a shared physician call schedule Qualifications Board Certified in Psychiatry (Adult or Child & Adolescent) Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure Minimum of five years of leadership experience in inpatient behavioral health Demonstrated success in clinical operations, physician leadership, and program development Strong understanding of healthcare finance, quality metrics, and organizational strategy Passion for delivering patient-centered, high-quality behavioral healthcare #J-18808-Ljbffr American Psychiatric Association
