We have recently secured large data center projects locally and are looking to expand our BIM department. The Electrical BIM Coordinator will be responsible for electrical design, coordinating clash detections, interacting with project managers and installers, and producing detailed construction documents. The Electrical BIM Coordinator will be responsible for electrical design, coordinating clash detections, interacting with project managers and installers, and producing detailed construction documents. Responsibilities Perform electrical design and modeling using Revit. Coordinate clash detections and resolve issues. Interact with project managers and installers to ensure accurate project execution. Create and manipulate Revit families and assemblies. Produce detailed construction documents for electrical systems. Essential Skills Proficiency in Revit. Experience with electrical design and modeling. Knowledge of Navisworks. Ability to create and manipulate Revit families and assemblies. Proficiency in creating detailed electrical construction documents. Additional Skills & Qualifications 3-10 years of experience in the BIM industry or with an electrical contractor. Proficient in NEC codes. Experience with Revit 3D modeling of electrical systems. Familiarity with fabrication and detailing. Work Environment This position primarily involves design and coordination of electrical systems, with minimal field work. The typical work schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM with a hybrid work arrangement. Employees benefit from a 5% 401k match and work in a smaller electrical contractor environment with the backing of a large parent company. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $130,000 per year.
