Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist

Hourly Wage Estimate: $29.72 - $46.60 / hour $10,000 Sign On Bonus Available Job Summary The Operating Room Technician will demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide assistance during surgical procedures. The technician is experienced in aseptic technique, setting up equipment and sterile supplies, pulling cases, and breaking them down at the end of procedures. They are knowledgeable about instrumentation, equipment, and supply needs for all types of surgical procedures. The technician performs delegated duties consistent with their scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at SMC. Position Requirements Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current BLS Certification, Surg Tech License Education: Vocational School Degree required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Basic to advanced knowledge in scrub role and responsibilities for all types of surgical procedures. Demonstrates good organizational skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
