New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) Advanced Heart Failure Cardiac Unit

Where You Will Work:

7B is a 19-bed advanced heart failure intermediate cardiac unit, including 14 high-acuity beds designed to support critically ill patients requiring a progressive level of care. Our staffing model allows for a 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio in high-acuity settings.

We provide specialized care for complex cardiac patients, including those requiring:

• 
  Invasive hemodynamic monitoring (PA/Swan-Ganz catheters)
  
  



• 
  Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs)
  
  



• 
  Pre and postheart transplant management
  
  



• 
  Bedside sustained low-efficiency dialysis (SLED)
  
  



• 
  Inotropic therapy management

Were Looking For:

• 
  Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  
  



• 
  Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  
  



• 
  Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  
  

What Youll Do:

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

About This Location:

Atrium Healths Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) is the flagship hospital of Atrium Health in Charlotte NC, distinguished throughout the Southeastern United States for its excellent patient care and medical expertise. CMC serves as the regions only Level 1 Trauma center, is Magnet-designated, and an approved transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas and liver.
