Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist (Ultrasonographer General) position is located in Lewiston, Maine. The role involves working independently in an outpatient setting with neonates and biopsies, supporting a community hospital. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work. This position offers variable shifts based on staffing needs.

Job Details:

• Location: Lewiston, ME
• Position: Ultrasound Technologist (Ultrasonographer General)
• Specialty: Ultrasound Tech
• Shift: Rotating Day/Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, with shift times varying (including weeknights and weekends on call)
• Required Qualifications: General studies education, BLS certification, ARRT Sonography/RDMS certification, RDMS Peds certification, Maine licensure, 2 years of experience preferred, Outpatient and community hospital experience required, experience working independently, working with neonates and biopsies, supporting EMR system Cerner
• Preferred Qualifications: Peds / GE Peds, experience with abdominal, pelvic, ectopic, scrotal, thyroid, carotid imaging, paracentesis, FNA, thoracentesis, and OB cases
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include writing preliminary notes on each case; patient load approximately 1 patient per hour; prefer no more than a two-week offer period during the contract
