Position Type: Aquatic Center Staff/ Lifeguard - Student Date Posted: 1/8/2024 Location: Worland Aquatic Center Student Lifeguard, part-time $12.75/hour Description Provide a safe environment and enforce guidelines established by the facility for patron use and assigned activities. Maintain a high standard of customer service. Responsible for maintaining orderliness by inspecting swimming pool areas, locker rooms, classroom, and offices. Daily monitor and record information regarding pool chemistry. Job Summary Overseeing activities at an aquatic facility. Assisting with swimming lessons. Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations, and policies to ensure the safety of patrons. Maintaining order in swimming areas. Performing first aid procedures. Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of all areas. Maintaining records and reports. Must maintain a positive and friendly approach with all patrons. Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. Performs various jobs as related todaily task list. Attend In-Service training monthly. Qualifications Must be at least 15 years of age Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written Proficient in interacting with people of various ages Able to lift over 50lbs Must have a current certification in Lifeguarding First Aid/CPR or pass pre-requisite lifeguard testing and course.
