Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Skilled Nursing Facility Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of Skilled Nursing Facility and/or Long Term Care experience License: Valid state license required Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: Traveler must have own transportation Description: This position is for a Physical Therapist in a long-term care setting. The facility operates with a patient ratio of 1:5. The shift is 8 hours during the day. Candidates with less than 1 year of experience are not accepted. Weekends are not required. First-time travelers are not accepted. The facility does not accommodate block scheduling or flexible shift patterns. Candidates may need to float between similar units. Travelers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including the primary series and one booster. No on-call shifts are required for this position. Local candidates within a 50-75 mile radius are accepted. Travelers may be called off for up to one shift per pay period. Candidates must submit two references covering the last year of experience. Candidates must commit to working 3 out of 5 specified holidays during the contract period. No contact with facility personnel is allowed unless arranged through the agency. Travelers should expect to complete required modules before starting. Failure to float between facilities, when required, may result in a termination of the assignment. Providers will be provided with necessary communication devices as required for the assignment. All communication regarding scheduling must be done through the agency.
