About the Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Superintendent who is a hands-on builder, strong field leader, and team player. This role is responsible for leading field operations from project mobilization through closeout while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, subcontractor coordination, and client satisfaction .

The ideal candidate takes ownership, communicates effectively, solves problems proactively, and takes pride in delivering high-quality commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily field operations from mobilization through project closeout.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and multiple trades to meet project goals.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, manpower, equipment, materials, and trade coordination.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize schedule and budget impacts.
• Serve as the primary onsite contact for owners, tenants, architects, subcontractors, and project teams .
• Lead project meetings and provide clear, timely progress updates.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, field documentation, and project records .
• Conduct ongoing inspections to ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
• Manage punch lists, corrective actions, inspections, approvals, and project turnover .
• Champion a strong jobsite safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections and immediately address unsafe conditions.
• Mentor field personnel and help develop future construction leaders.

✅ Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractor trades on tenant improvement, interiors, finishes, and/or commercial renovation projects .
• Strong understanding of commercial construction means and methods .
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and schedules .
• Working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and MS Office .
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of construction safety and OSHA compliance .
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work onsite in San Diego, CA .
