• Average Daily Volume: ~2 patients per hour, 18–20 per shift

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
  
• Licenses: Active Florida Medical License
  
• Certifications: ATLS required
  
• Other Qualifications: Clear NPBD, up-to-date CV, Attestation form
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide immediate recognition, evaluation, care, stabilization, and disposition of adult and pediatric patients in response to acute illness and injury.
  
• Work 10-hour shifts in the main ED with APP assistance; no supervision of APPs required.
  
• Complete all ED patient care before leaving shift; no overtime or call responsibilities.
  
• Potentially float to LMH or HPMC for urgent coverage (unlikely).
  
• Adhere to Florida law requiring ATLS certification and maintain active Florida medical license.
