\n Deaconess Health System is seeking a highly motivated Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our outpatient behavioral health team in Henderson, KY or Evansville, Indiana to serve patients in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting with strong clinical and administrative support.\n

We offer a highly competitive compensation package with significant earning potential:  

\n

\n
• Year 1 guaranteed base salary: $350,000 with potential to earn more
\n
• Sign-on bonus: $75,000
\n
• Additional earning potential in Year 1 and beyond: Deaconess psychiatrists earn $400,000–$500,000 or more based on productivity and performance.
\n

Role   Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations & individualized treatment plans
\n
• Medication management
\n
• Provide clinical care in an outpatient setting
\n
• Collaborate with PMHNP's, nurses, & therapists
\n
• Offer supervision of PMHNP's
\n
• Offer co-signatures for therapists to support clinical documentation
\n
• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting. 
\n
• Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
\n
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards for psychiatric care
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR (EPIC) 
\n

Deaconess Cross Pointe (DCP) offers a full continuum of behavioral health services, including outpatient programs and a fully accredited 60-bed inpatient facility.

\n

Call Responsibilities: 

\n

\n
• Share on-call duties with all full-time psychiatrists and inpatient PMHNPs.
\n
• Weeknight coverage , typically once every two weeks (5:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.), responsible for triaging intake calls, providing dispositions, and issuing admission orders.
\n
• Weekend Coverage , approximately one in six weekends, responsible for triaging intake calls and rounding on inpatients Saturday and Sunday. Advanced Practice Nurses provide support every weekend alongside the psychiatrist.
\n

We are seeking a psychiatric leader with the following qualifications:

\n

\n
• Board certification in Psychiatry (MD or DO).
\n
• Eligible for or currently holding an active medical license in the states of Indiana and Kentucky.
\n
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry and familiarity with intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other members of a interdisciplinary team. 
\n
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
\n
