Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Medical Lab Technician program preferred; bachelor's degree may be required by some clients.
• Valid MLT certification through TN State Licensure, ASCP, AMT, AAB, HHS, or equivalent accrediting agency required. TN State license preferred.
• Alternatively, meet CLIA grandfathering criteria for military-trained personnel as described by client requirements.
• Minimum 1 year laboratory experience required.
• Experience with chemistry, hematology, and blood bank preferred.
• BLS certification as required by client.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• TN State licensure.
• Prior experience in hospital laboratory or acute care setting.
• Experience performing a broad range of diagnostic testing and following standardized laboratory procedures.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1800–0630.
• Schedule: 3x12s with alternating weekends.
• No call requirement.
• Floating to other labs may be required.
• Scrub color: gray.
