Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Critical Care Nurse ICU

Nights with every other weekend required.

Manage up to two ventilated patients concurrently in a 16-bed unit with a daily census of approximately 13 patients.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in the state or compact license required at time of submission.
• Preferred 2 years of critical care/ICU experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:2 is preferred.
• Ability to manage ventilator settings and titrate multiple vasoactive drips.
• Familiarity with arterial line, central line care, and ABG interpretation.
• Knowledge of post-cardiac surgery care and CRRT is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult and geriatric cardiac and medical ICU patients.
• Monitor and manage patients' respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Administer medications and blood products as needed.
• Perform dysrhythmia management and interpret cardiovascular monitoring data.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
