Job Details Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing (Med/Surg) Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment Location: Chattanooga, TN 37404 Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 08/31/2026 Shift: 12-hour nights Hours Per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 - $1,730 Openings: 3 Schedule Notes: 4 weekend shifts per schedule; rotation floating policy Documentation System: Meditech Unit Highlights: 26-bed ortho/spine unit with supportive staffing resources Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license At least 1 year of Med/Surg or orthopedic nursing experience preferred Strong orthopedic background, ideally in acute care or post-op recovery Excellent compassion, teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in weekend scheduling Comfortable in a fast-paced acute care environment Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to post-op orthopedic and spine patients Monitor patient conditions, complete assessments, and report changes promptly Support recovery for knee and hip replacements as well as multi-level spine surgeries Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the care team to promote safe patient outcomes Document care accurately and efficiently in the Meditech electronic health record system Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach throughout each shift Follow unit guidelines while contributing to a positive team atmosphere Why Apply for This Chattanooga Healthcare Job?
