Details Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting Supports surge/overflow patients, with possible floating to the ED to care for boarder patients Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Shift start time flexibility up to four hours prior to or after posted time based on department need Every other weekend/every other holiday requirement Uses Epic for charting Union facility with no special scheduling accommodations; must be able to work all 7 days Requirements Active MA RN license required 2 years of experience required BLS required, ACLS preferred Preferred experience with chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), spinal precautions, PCA pumps, and epidurals Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and medication administration Trauma Level I hospital experience preferred Must pass a pass/fail medication exam and tele test during in-person orientation (1 attempt allowed) Additional Information Provide telemetry nursing care including cardiac monitoring and emergency response Study materials provided in advance of required orientation exams Facility allows 1 of 3 major upcoming holidays as RTO First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius at the same bill rate Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system American Traveler Job ID P-768041.
