Commerical Construction Estimator

Overview We are a family-owned General Contractor specialized in commercial/retail construction. Our mission is to put together the best team possible to make sure our clients are satisfied with projects completed on time and in budget. We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. Your role will be to assist the Project Management team to put together accurate, competitive bids on upcoming projects. As a member of the Estimating department, you will work with one other estimator and report to our Project Management team. Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with Subcontractors Send bid invites and manage bid calendar Research pricing for material and other job costs to prepare accurate bid Assist project managers with other tasks as needed Qualifications Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills: High School or GED Scheduling Communication Skills Time Management Construction Drawings Benefits We are a family-owned company that has been in business for over 35 years, and aim to treat all of our employees like family.
