As an Aviation Planning Intern, you'll gain the opportunity to work on large-scale airport master planning and development projects. This internship is your chance to be part of a collaborative community where you can expand your knowledge and sharpen your skills through hands-on meaningful work.Responsibilities & QualificationsWhat You Will DoConduct planning studies and analyze airport facilities and operationsAssist in developing airport facility conceptual plans (AutoCAD)Develop GIS databases and mapping for airspace analysesParticipate in data collection and surveysCoordinate and write task analysis results and reportsAssist in preparing presentationsEngage client staff, attend client meetings/presentations, and establish positive relationshipsMaintain good communication with project team and colleaguesSupport peers in various task assignmentsPerform other duties as assignedWhat You Bring to the TeamExceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleaguesAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while also able to effectively collaborate in a team environmentStrong commitment to integrity, consistently demonstrating ethical, fair, and responsible behaviorCommitment to innovation and continuous learning, with a passion for acquiring new skills and driving improvementsYour Education and ExperienceRequires current 2nd year standing as an undergraduate, or a Graduate student standing, pursuing a degree in Urban Planning, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering or related disciplineFamiliarity with AutoCADKnowledge of Adobe Suite, GIS, SketchUp, a plusAdditional InformationAt Landrum and Brown we strive to create a supportive and enriching learning environment that empowers you to make an impact.
