Paralegal/Legal Assistant

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated paralegal/legal assistant to handle a busy Arizona Family Law caseload to work full-time hours on‑site. You will provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an experienced Arizona Family Law Trial Attorney. This is NOT an entry level position. A minimum of three (3) consecutive years of recent Arizona Family Law Experience is required. This is NOT a telework or remote work job! People not meeting these qualifications NEED NOT Apply! Responsibilities Handle family law cases from intake to the end of the case Provide administrative support to lawyer Communicate with clients, court, prospective clients, opposing counsel, etc. Conduct investigations and legal research Draft and file legal pleadings and motions Draft correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, court, prospective clients, etc. Draft disclosure and discovery requests and answers Assist in trial/hearing preparation Answer and direct telephone calls Maintain client and conflicts lists Monitor and manage calendars (office, ECR/court docket, deadlines, etc.) Skills/Prerequisites Arizona Family Law work experience as a paralegal or legal assistant for a minimum of three (3) recent AND consecutive years. Familiarity with Arizona Laws/Statutes, Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure, Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure, and the Arizona Civil Court system Satisfactory knowledge of day‑to‑day operations of a law office Proficiency in English Working knowledge of case management software Excellent secretarial and organizational skills Excellence in managing multiple activities under pressure Reliable Transportation Job Type Full‑time Health insurance Ability to Commute Ability to Relocate Mesa, AZ 85206: Relocate before starting work (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
