Shift Manager

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, but is a separate company and employer. If you are hired, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald’s USA. Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure high quality, service, and cleanliness for customers. Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, such as: Planning for each shift Monitoring performance during the shift Taking action to meet McDonald’s standards Monitoring safety, security, and profitability Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for the next shift Meeting shift targets and helping assigned departments meet their goals Shift Manager Key Responsibilities Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Requirements Previous restaurant management experience is required.
