Automation Technician III

Snapshot / Role Overview:
We're seeking a Automation Technician III in Phoenix, AZ to support and grow commercial mechanical operations across the region.

Impact:
- Deliver building automation projects that improve comfort, energy use, and reliability.
- Cut commissioning time through clean designs and accurate point lists.
- Build long-term service relationships with owners and facility teams.
- Mentor technicians and engineers on controls best practices.

Responsibilities:
- Design, install, or service BAS on commercial HVAC systems.
- Work with Niagara, Tridium, Distech, Siemens, or Schneider platforms.
- Program and commission DDC controllers and graphics.
- Coordinate with mechanical contractors and electricians on field wiring.
- Build and review point lists, sequences of operation, and submittals.
- Troubleshoot communication, hardware, and software issues.
- Document changes and turn over clean as-builts.
- Support service and warranty calls as needed.
