Affordable Housing Finance Attorney Mid-Level

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level associate attorney with over four years of experience to join the Affordable Housing Finance team in Costa Mesa, CA. The role involves representing banks and financial institutions in affordable housing finance transactions, including tax-exempt and taxable bond transactions. Duties Represent lenders in affordable housing and multifamily finance transactions. Draft and negotiate mortgage loan documents, including intercreditor and subordinate financing arrangements. Conduct real estate and entity due diligence. Collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Requirements 4+ years of relevant lender-side affordable housing finance experience. Admission to the California Bar preferred; Illinois or New York Bar admission considered. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the Bar in relevant jurisdiction. Skills Strong academic credentials and outstanding writing skills. Ability to take ownership of projects and workstreams.
