Closer/Funder

That's why we created the Knock Bridge Loan™ , giving homeowners the power to unlock the equity in their current home so they can buy before they sell. And now, we're looking for a Closer/Funder to help bring those transactions across the finish line.

The Closing Team is the final, crucial stop in our customers' journey — and you'll be the person making sure their dream of a new home becomes reality. You'll be the calm in the chaos, the detail-obsessed expert, and the friendly guide that keeps everything (and everyone) on track.

✅ Prepare and send accurate Initial Closing Disclosures (ICDs) to borrowers — first impressions matter!
✅ Troubleshoot and resolve closing issues quickly, always keeping the customer experience front and center.
✅ Execute the transfer of lender funds so transactions close smoothly and on time.
✅ Review every detail of loan documents (sales price, loan amount, vesting, etc.) — no stone left unturned.
✅ Ensure everything complies with federal, state, and program guidelines.
✅ Partner with Loan Officers, Bridge Loan Specialists, Loan Assistants, and settlement teams to keep deals moving.
✅ Audit signed closing packages to guarantee accuracy before funds are released.
✅ Own your pipeline — manage 50–60 loans per month with precision and care.
✅ Be a mentor, collaborator, and knowledge-sharer — we grow together.
✅ Jump into special projects or support your team whenever needed — we've got each other's backs.

✔ 3+ years of recent experience closing residential loans (cash-out refinance expertise = a huge plus!)
✔ You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment — juggling 50–60 closings per month ? You've got this.
✔ Details are your love language — you triple-check your work.
✔ You live for creating a "wow" experience for customers.
✔ You're a proactive communicator — people never have to guess where things stand.
✔ You're organized, self-motivated, and love working independently.
✔ Tech doesn't intimidate you — you know your way around a LOS and other lending systems. We are use Meridian Link
✔ You've worked remotely before and can stay connected in a distributed team. *Note: this position is 100% remote but the job boards require us to list a location so we pick one but you are not required to live there.*

Compensation and Benefits:

The candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Our Compensation Philosophy: As a remote first fully remote (U.S.-based) workforce, our goal is to ensure that all Knockstars are fairly compensated.  Please note that the base salary for this position is: $61,000- $66,000 USD + bonus.
