Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and caring Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, and assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors through the use of psychotherapeutic methods and medicine. Responsibilities 

• Identify psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns and provide diagnoses
• Create individualized treatment plans for each client
• Prescribe psychotherapeutic medication and adjust prescription according to patient’s response
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan, including all medication information
• Consult with primary care physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care is provided
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest professional developments and research

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license and certification as a Psychiatric Nurse (PMHNP)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain complex medical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
• Excellent observational and assessment skills
