The General Manager leads and directs sales strategies and activities which address current dynamics and are in alignment with overall goals to deliver volume, profit and brand health, while optimizing the use of budget. Leads, directs, and motivates multiple independent distributors, control state boards, and chain customers to align with business strategies and deliver execution of initiatives in retail outlets.

• Strong P&L and analytical skills with good understanding of pricing and marginal contribution

• Engage and persuade others, tied to measurable business results
• Create a sales strategy, consistent with national brand positioning

• Provide creative direction and thought leadership by pushing new ideas
• Develop and influence distributors and chain customers via goal alignment, solution based selling disciplines, differentiated selling and routine management practices based on distributor needs

Financial Responsibility & Planning

• Manage and maintain sound financial and budgetary policy and instill a commitment to fiscal responsibility
• Maximize utilization of available budget to ensure efforts reach trade

Grow Talent

• Builds and manages a strong team through clear expectations, personal accountability, courageous conversations and effective performance management

Key Ingredients

• 10+ years of relevant experience within CPG
• Sound business understanding including pricing strategies, distributor margins, etc.
• Demonstration of thought leadership by taking prudent risks individually and through the team
• Strong people management skills & communication skills​
• Results-oriented and leads change
• Takes accountability for results, acting with integrity and honoring commitments
• Thirst for learning – looking for ways to learn and help others grow

Pay and Benefits:

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.

Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings : $171,700.00-  $225,400.00(posting salary range) + 35%  target short term incentive +   target long term incentive + $23,000  on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).

The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
