Accounts Receivable Specialist

Essential Job Function

Demonstrates SoundOff Signal’s Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers.

Cash application of customer payments

(ACH, Wire, Check, Credit Card)

Reconcile credit card payments

Collect payment on prepay customer orders

Initiate collection activities with delinquent accounts 

Document communication 

Handle AR Emails and Distribution

Provide support to other members of the finance department on relevant projects

Perform job consistently without excessive absenteeism or tardiness

Other Accounts Receivable duties as needed

Job Requirements

Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

3-5 years Accounts Receivable experience

Able to perform basic to intermediate level math functions

Strong attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written skills

Ability to handle conflict and resolve customer issues

Self-initiator, team player, effective communicator, with a customer focus

Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including Excel

Fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Low noise level in a temperature-controlled setting

Mostly normal business hours with occasional need to flex hours

Salary Description

$22.00 - $26.00 / hour based on experience
