MDM Data Architect

Position Type: 6 Months Contract to hire Experience in Clinical Operation and/or RWE (real world experience) in Life Sciences. Required Skills 12+ years of experience as a technology leader designing and developing data solutions with more than 2+ years specializing in big data architecture or data analytics. It’s essential for this role to take a system view of architecture rather than just designing code modules. This will involve adopting and integrating new technologies constantly Good understanding of MDM (master data management) Prior experience with Analytics platforms (e.g. Pentaho, Business Objects or similar), OLAP technologies and ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend and/or Pentaho Hands-on experience with at least one of major BI platforms ( Business Objects, OBIEE, Cognos ) as well as some emerging data analytics tools ( Tableau, Spotfire, QlikView ) Good knowledge of working in Hadoop Eco Systems . Distributions like Cloudera, Horton Works, or Apache and implementing solutions on Big data technologies - Hadoop, Map/Reduce, Pig, Hive, Spark, Storm, Impala, Oozie, Mahout, Flume, ZooKeeper and/or Sqoop Solid understanding of NoSQL and prior experience working with NoSQL databases Hbase, MongoDB, Cassandra A process- oriented individual, with strong project management skills, who has the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic organization Experience working with Cloud Storage solutions in AWS, Azure is a plus. Enterprise Business Intelligence and Analytics (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Teradata, Vertica) MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field. Plus to have prior experience in Clinical Operation and/or RWE (real world experience) in Life Sciences.
