OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Rockford, IL by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Operate coast-to-coast dry-van freight while running out of Rockford, IL for a driver-focused carrier. HMD pays starting at 65 CPM with weekly averages near 2,500 miles and bonus opportunities for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals.

Responsibilities:

• Drive late-model dry-van tractors (under 3 years) equipped with sleepers, APUs and inverters.
• Execute OTR hauls, maintain accurate logs, and deliver freight on schedule in compliance with DOT rules.
• Complete pre/post-trip inspections and coordinate maintenance with in-house technicians.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable experience behind the wheel.
• Strong safety focus, professionalism, and a clean driving history.
