Senior CNC Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Mechanic II Job Type: Full-time Shift: Day Shift or Night Shift Salary: $32.00 - $48.00 The Maintenance Mechanic II performs repair, modification and preventive maintenance tasks on CNC machinery, building, facilities, equipment fixtures and systems. Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains facility plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems. Responsibilities Work safely and without injury. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machinery as well as standard facility systems. Perform routine preventive maintenance operations, including maintaining an accurate TPM record, lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. in accordance with manufacturer’s operation and maintenance schedule and guidelines. Perform routine and assist with complex troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment and systems (requires isolation of malfunction, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of bearings, gears, structural components, etc.). Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, soliciting information from line operators and other production associates, and listening for problems. Use precision measuring and testing instruments, gauges, power tools and other hand tools. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment to return to safe operation. Assist in the movement of equipment and furniture as needed. Participate in team meetings as required (safety, problem‑solving, etc.). Implement the Quality Policy and Procedures in all aspects of daily duties and responsibilities. Perform limited machining operations incidental to repair and maintenance tasks. Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of equipment failures. Review service requests for repairs and maintenance, determine nature of problem and recommend appropriate solution. Perform required preventive maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. Evaluate data to determine equipment performance and verify effectiveness of repairs by ensuring that product produced meets specifications. Flexibility with work shift times to accommodate production need. Requirements High school diploma or GED. Minimum five years of CNC maintenance troubleshooting and facilities maintenance experience. CNC repair experience preferred, including Star, Willemin & Haas. Proficient reading engineer drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals. Must possess good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Excellent time management and organizational skills; must be able to multi-task and prioritize duties. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers. Ability to effectively problem-solve. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Cooperative, team-focused attitude. Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly. Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours. Production Equipment Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience. Basic experience in electrical troubleshooting, machine electrical and controllers, including 120/240/480 (3‑phase) and low voltage systems ranging from 5 VDC – 24 VDC.
