Assembler

Connectronics Corp a U.S. manufacturer of specialized electronic connectors including high-voltage interconnects, aerospace connectors, underwater connectors, high current connectors, and multi-pin cable assemblies has an opening in Toledo, OH for an assembler to produce assembled electronic and cable assemblies and subassemblies. Responsibilities Follow production drawings and work instructions, and/or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. Assemble smart electronic components and cable assembles using small hand tools. Crimp, solder, cement, press or similar operations to join or secure parts in place. Perform assembly tasks such as encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, stripping, and/or stamping. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Experience is not required, but a willingness to train the right person. Visual acuity and able to distinguish colors. Able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong manual dexterity and gripping with both hands. Attention to detail, well organized, and consistent. Sustained dependable attendance. Interested in learning tasks and jobs. Open to changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks.
