Logistics Team Lead

Our client, a leader in logistics and distribution, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Logistics Team Lead to join their team. As a Logistics Team Lead, you will be part of the Warehouse Department supporting daily distribution operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Logistics Team Lead

Location: Hauppauge, NY

Pay Range: $25

Shift: 11pm - 7:45am (Overnight)

What's the Job?

• Direct and coordinate activities of distribution facilities to ensure smooth operations

• Establish and implement operational procedures for shipment verification, handling, and inventory management

• Communicate daily with cross-functional teams including carriers, sales, finance, and production

• Assign tasks to team members such as verifying incoming merchandise and preparing customer orders

• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and security standards within the facility

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED equivalent

• At least 1 year of related experience in a warehouse or distribution environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required

• Strong communication and team management skills

• Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to changing schedules
