MRI Technologist

Outpatient MRI Technologist position available. 3 years of experience is required. Candidates must have experience with Epic charting system. Black scrubs are required. Experience in Adult Acute Care and Adult Outpatient is preferred. Travel experience is required. Patients aged adults and pediatrics will be seen. Daily census is approximately 55 patients. Average number of visits per day is around 50. There are 3 MRI rooms available. Radiology is the primary support provided. Patients with a variety of diagnoses will be treated. Candidates should be familiar with advanced MRI skills, including abdominal and cardiac imaging. Preparation and administration of contrast media is required. Client safety practices must be followed. All clinicians are required to complete OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to the start. Fit testing for masks must be done, and travelers must shave for proper seal. Failure to comply with fit testing requirements could result in cancellation of the assignment. Candidates should be aware that working as a traveler is limited to one year, followed by a mandatory break. Modules completed prior to starting are not billable. Allied modules are approximately 1 hour. Completion of modules will be recorded on transcripts.
