CT Technologist

The CT Technologist is responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues, which are crucial for diagnosing various medical conditions. This role also encompasses a range of imaging procedures beyond CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to create detailed images for diagnostic purposes.
• Perform additional imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Certification in radiologic technology or a related field.
• Current license or certification required by state and national regulations.
• Experience in computed tomography and other imaging modalities is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
