Under the supervision of a licensed dentist, you will provide high-quality dental hygiene services that support our whole-person care model.Your passion for community health, combined with our commitment to integrated care, makes Meridian a place where your work truly matters.Dental Hygienist Key ResponsibilitiesPerform hygiene care under an Access Practice Agreement when applicableComplete all hygiene duties as directed by the supervising dentistObtain dental histories; assess, document, and maintain patient recordsPrepare patients for dental examinationsEducate patients on oral health, prevention, and disease managementPerform scaling and make appropriate referralsRecommend community resources and support continuity of careFollow infection control, OSHA, and CLIA standardsMaintain licensure, CPR certification, and ongoing professional developmentProtect patient confidentiality and comply with all agency policiesParticipate in meetings, trainings, committees, and other duties as assignedDental Hygienist QualificationsDegree from an accredited dental hygiene programCurrent Indiana Dental Hygiene LicenseTwo years of experience preferredMeridian Health Services offers a competitive benefits package, including:Generous PTO and paid holidaysComprehensive medical, dental, and retirement benefits (401k with match)Professional development and continuing education supportCareer advancement opportunitiesWellness and financial wellness programsMerit-based compensationPre-employment requirements include drug screening, TB test, background check, and fingerprinting.
