Job Overview Community Health Network, a community‑driven organization with over 60 years of experience, seeks an Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for its main operating room in Indianapolis, IN. The role supports surgical teams in providing exceptional care, ensuring a safe and sterile surgical environment while contributing to the growth and professional development of the care team. Responsibilities The Operating Room CST will be responsible for scrubbing on a variety of surgical cases, assisting surgeons, and anticipating their needs throughout procedures. Qualifications graduate from a CAAHEP‑ or ABHES‑accredited Surgical Technology program, or graduate from an NCCT‑authorized school with completed GED or high school diploma (associate degree preferred) graduates of a Military Training Program in Surgical Technology that is not accredited must provide a DD‑214 certifying the base and graduation current surgical technologists with an associate degree or higher in another field may be considered if they have completed at least 120 surgical cases in the last four years and 30 continuing‑education credits in the last two years obtain Surgical Technologist certification from the NBSTSA within six months of hire one year of operating room experience preferred strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills required demonstrate the ability to prioritize, organize, and multi‑task with a high degree of responsibility and responsiveness capable of taking direction well while also being self‑directed and motivated #J-18808-Ljbffr Community Health Network
