Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a short-term acute care, Level III trauma teaching hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Nuclear Medicine department in a short-term acute care, Level III trauma teaching hospital with 733 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule, either 5x8 hours (8:00 AM-4:30 PM) or 4x10 hours (7:00 AM-5:30 PM), Monday-Friday
• 13-week assignment
• May float within the hospital or affiliated campuses based on staffing needs
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience required
• Active state or compact license required for consideration; license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• PET certification preferred
• PET Scan experience preferred
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• No background or license actions within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the main campus are not eligible
• Maximum of 4 days RTO permitted, subject to manager discretion
• Holiday RTO requests limited to one major holiday
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Contract extensions limited to one renewal (two contracts total), after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying
