Lure Fish House is hiring Hosts. We are looking for individuals who want to work and be a part of a great team. Lure Fish House is a family-owned restaurant featuring fresh and sustainable seafood from trusted sources. Local and organic ingredients are used whenever possible. Join our Team Today!

Host Responsibilities:

• Greet all guests with a smile and make all guests feel welcomed at the restaurant
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
• Perform other restaurant duties as assigned
• Answer phones
• Walk guests to their tables
• Roll silverware
• Coordinate seating
• Interact with guests professionally
• Lift and carry menus
• Light cleaning
• Restroom checks
• Featured item board updates
• Exterior menu box updates
• Must be able to take Take Out orders, and ring them in correctly
• Open doors for guests as they come in and exit the building

Host Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with guests
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to understand and speak English; able to read written instructions in English
• Able to communicate well
• Positive attitude
• Able to work under pressure
• Able to effectively solve problems
• Able to analyze information
• Able to meet deadlines
• Must work with a sense of urgency
