Maintenance Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team at ExcelCare At the Pines, a 151-bed Medicare and Medicaid-certified nursing home in Atlantic City, New Jersey. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, providing exceptional service to our residents and staff.
As a Maintenance Assistant at ExcelCare At the Pines, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the facility is in good working condition
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff
- Assist in the maintenance of the facility's equipment and machinery
- Contribute to the upkeep of the facility's grounds and exterior areas
- Perform other maintenance-related tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or other facility staff
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance or a related field
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and supplies as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to facility policies and procedures
