Safety Administrator-ELD

Phoenix Management Solutions delivers shared administrative support services to a nationwide network of intermodal transportation carriers and a leading transportation brokerage firm. We are hiring a Safety Administrator-ELD to work as part of our on-site safety team located in San Antonio, Texas.

The Safety Administrator-ELD monitors telematics and electronic log data (ELD) for DOT hours-of-service violations. The Administrator must have a minimum of 1 year of general office administrative experience and have a good working knowledge of MS Office applications. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor telematics/ELD data (hours of service violations, log violations, speeding events, driver contractor behavior on the road) for all leased contractor and company drivers.
• Report on ELD/telematics related findings to the Manager.
• Schedule coaching sessions based on HOW/telematic violations.
• Communicate with driver contractors regarding good driving safety records and adverse safety information.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to read and write English. Bilingual skills in Spanish is required.
• Excellent organizational skills while handling multiple priorities and tasks at any given time.
• Ability to maintain professional composure during stressful situations.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college coursework is preferred.
• At least 1 year of general administrative office work is required.
• Prior experience working with a multi-state employer is a plus!
