Mid-Level Trust & Estate Transactional Associate

An established firm based in California with over 65+ years in practice is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join their hybrid team. This Attorney will have experience with estate planning, trust administration, and wealth transfer strategies , ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while advising clients on sophisticated personal planning matters.

 

Offer : 

Salary range: $245,000-$255,000+, contingent on experience

Qualifications : 

5-6 years of law firm experience in estate planning and trust administration
Strong experience drafting wills, revocable living trusts, and irrevocable trust instruments
Solid understanding of estate and gift tax concepts, including taxable estates
Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively with senior attorneys

 

Responsibilities : 

Draft comprehensive estate plans including wills, revocable living trusts, and irrevocable trust instruments
Handle trust administration matters from inception through completion
Advise clients on estate, gift, and wealth transfer tax considerations
Work closely with senior partners on complex estate planning strategies
Maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality legal services
Stay current on developments in estate planning laws and regulations
