Your leadership will help organizations achieve compliance, reduce risk, and create lasting environmental value.**What Your Impact Is*** Manage and deliver high-profile site investigation, risk assessment, and remediation projects under CERCLA, RCRA, and state programs.* Shape strategies for environmental liability management across manufacturing, power, chemical, oil & gas, and technology sectors.* Mentor and develop junior consultants while fostering collaboration with technical experts and senior leaders.* Build trusted client relationships and contribute to business growth through proposals, presentations, and thought leadership.**What You’ll Bring**### **Required*** Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, or a related discipline. Or equivalent experience.* 4+ years of progressive project management and technical experience in site investigation/remediation under CERCLA, RCRA, and state programs.* Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams.* Environmental field experience and 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.* Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.* Commitment to safety and adherence to health and safety protocols.* **This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.**### **Preferred*** Master’s degree in engineering or geology.* Professional license (PE, PG) or ability to obtain one soon.* 5–8 years of experience managing complex projects.* Familiarity with environmental data management tools (e.g., EQuIS).* Experience with vapor intrusion investigations and remediation.* Understanding of electronic field data collection and reporting technologies.**Key Responsibilities*** Lead and coordinate site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation of soil, groundwater, and sediments.* Plan and oversee field activities: sampling, drilling, well installation, vapor intrusion assessments, and high-resolution site characterization.* Review and interpret environmental data, develop conceptual site models, and prepare technical reports and work plans.* Evaluate remedial alternatives and negotiate cost-effective closure strategies with regulatory agencies.* Mentor junior staff, delegate tasks effectively, and engage technical experts to maximize client value.* Support business development through proposals, presentations, and client relationship management.* Champion innovation by integrating new technologies to improve project efficiency and outcomes.Apply now and join ERM’s mission to create a more sustainable future.For the Managing Consultant, Environmental Project Manager position, the anticipated annual base pay is $96,083-$120,105 USD. Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
