Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Manager, Marketing and Distribution with experience in product marketing in the Oil & Gas Industry to join our team! Role Summary Responsible for executing the strategies set forth, driving profitability and identifying opportunity to maximize utilization on Buckeye assets. Responsibilities & Essential Functions Maintain and develop business in management directed areas, with emphasis on building relationships with existing clients in the Upstate NY region of the U.S. Manage customer set-up which may involve obtaining of credit approval, tax license information and gathering of other additional necessary customer information. Maintain existing business. It is expected that personal visits and follow up will occur to help effect a maturation of the business relationship. As the business matures, the Marketing Representative will continue to provide any necessary credit and operations support to the account. Play an active role in petroleum industry groups and or functions in order to promote Buckeye. Will be required to stay current on pending petroleum related legislation and product changes to better inform new and existing customers. In all ways provide value added service to our customers. And other duties as assigned. Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance or other related discipline required. 5+ years related, industry experience required. Some knowledge T4 scheduling system or similar application is preferred Proficiency using MS Office, including Excel and Word required. Ability to travel up to 30% domestically. Certificates & Licenses None required Other Skills, Attributes And Abilities This job includes frequent interaction with a wide range of personnel from company officers to hourly employees, which requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good reasoning and analytical skills are also required Candidate will need to be well organized and action plan oriented. This role requires the ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Physical & Safety Requirements The person in this position needs to occasionally move inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. This role continuously operates a computer and other office productivity equipment (i.e. a calculator, copy machine and computer printer).
