As a Secondary Spanish Teacher, you will primarily instruct high school students, fostering their language skills and cultural understanding through well-designed curriculum called Vista Higher Learning and engaging classroom activities. You will play a vital role in developing students' Spanish language proficiency and appreciation for Hispanic cultures while maintaining effective communication with parents and managing classroom dynamics.

 

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons tailored to high school students
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Design and update curriculum to align with academic standards
• Promote cultural education related to Spanish-speaking communities
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
• Engage students through interactive language development activities
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and needs
