Mechanical Assembler
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our team. We seek candidates who are mechanically-inclined and have experience with assembly work. This job will require the use of hand/power tools to assemble industrial equipment components.
Available Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (M – TH)
Other Shift Options Include:
- 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM (M-TH)
- 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (M-TH)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of hand, power tools or equipment.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
- Complete mechanical assemblies independently or as part of a team
- Safely operates any equipment needed to perform job within the assembly.
- Utilize production job schedules, and confer with supervisors/leads, to determine work priorities.
- Refer to engineering documentation such as CAD drawings and manufacturing procedures.
- Record production data such labor time and quantities using ERP system.
- Inform supervisors /leads of equipment malfunctions that need to be addressed.
- Clean and maintain equipment, machinery, and work stations on a daily basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications:
- High school education or equivalent and one year related assembly experience.
- Works with limited supervision to assemble units of moderate complexity.
- Must be able to identify and select components to be integrated into assembly units.
