Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This is a dynamic opportunity for professional growth and development in a fast-paced environment. Position Overview The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality surgical nursing care to patients undergoing various procedures in the Operating Room. The role includes engaging with patients and their families, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring a safe and effective surgical environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgery.
- Implement and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Administer medications and assist with anesthesia as directed.
- Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during procedures.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with policies.
- Current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts (or conditional license).
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Current certification in NIH Stroke Scale (NHISS).
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Flexible to meet the demands of on-call responsibilities.
