Business Analysis & Requirements GatheringGather, analyze, and document software, SCADA, and interface requirements in Software Requirements Specification (SRS) documents.Collaborate with customers and cross-functional engineering teams to define system and subsystem requirements and ensure requirements traceability.Perform impact analysis and identify communication requirements for SCADA systems, PLCs, and external interfaces.Software Architecture & DesignDefine software architecture, technical designs, and integration strategies for Windows-based applications, SCADA systems, and PLC interfaces.Prepare high-level and detailed design documents, including communication frameworks utilizing Modbus, TCP/IP, UDP, Serial Communication, and Genisys protocols.Make key technical decisions and apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to develop scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions.Software Development & IntegrationDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain software applications using C, C++, C#, and .NET technologies, including optimization and maintenance of legacy codebases.Build and maintain interfaces between Windows-based applications, SCADA systems, and PLCs (including Allen-Bradley PLCs), ensuring seamless communication and integration.Perform code reviews, debugging, testing, configuration management, source code control, and formal software release activities, while providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.Engineering Testing, Release Management & Defect ResolutionDevelop and execute test plans, test cases, and integration testing activities to verify software functionality and compliance with system requirements.Troubleshoot software and communication issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve defects identified during testing, deployment, and production support activities.Manage software baselines, releases, defect tracking, and validation documentation in accordance with established software engineering processes and standards.Skills Requirednull,nullLocationMelbourne, Florida, United States of AmericaDesirable Skillsnull,nullDesignationAssociate
