Job Title

Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location

Gloucester, MA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency room nursing care during 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Read and interpret telemetry strips as part of ongoing patient monitoring
• Float to a nearby facility location as needed based on staffing requirements
• Participate in biweekly orientation upon start of assignment
• Complete a pass/fail telemetry competency test on the first day of assignment (study materials provided upon confirmation)

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts (MA) Registered Nurse license
• ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience
• Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
• Flu vaccine required during onboarding — declinations are not accepted
• Must have a minimum separation of 6 months from this facility (permanent, per diem, or contract) to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity emergency room setting
• Comfort with floating to alternate facility locations as needed
